Here’s a behind-the-scenes look at prototype #001 of ANK Audio Kits’ latest monoblock product-  the top of the line, triple c-core, tube rectified EL34 monoblock.  And no, your eyes don’t deceive you…  it uses _two_ 5AR4/GZ34 rectifiers!  This arrangement means the new power supply packs plenty of power to feed those EL34 output tubes.  It also meant custom-designing a brand new mains transformer, tweaking the chassis and a couple other minor changes, but that’s all in a day’s work at ANK.  This is going to be a fantastic option for tube purists who want the ultimate c-core sound.
