This nice, older pair of interstage monoblocks needed a minor repair; since they had to come apart, we decided to bring them up to the modern spec, complete with the beautiful new copper insert plates and ultra-solid CMC black Bakelite sockets. Sometimes little things make a big difference, and I think these amps looked super when they were done. The sound is what you’d expect from a big 300B amp like this- warm, detailed, and those parallel 300Bs pack a surprising punch! After several hours of listening, I now (not so secretly) covet these monoblocks 😉
