Here’s the latest phono stage to leave the bench.  It’s a very tricked out L3 phono stage, complete with Audio Note tantalum resistors and beefy Audio Note and Jensen coupling caps.  It also sports some pretty funky solid silver wiring with nice copper braid, which I happen to think looks pretty good in the photos. . 😉   End result?  This was one of the most custom Audio Note Kits builds I’ve done, with lots of customer upgrades, but it also turned out to be one of the best-sounding phono stages I’ve built- dead quiet, very detailed, very clean.  I was sad to see this one go, but it’s en route to its new home now.
